Traditional Lutheran worship in Cullman, Alabama
Gathered Around Word and Sacrament
At Christ Lutheran Church, our worship is shaped by the historic liturgy of the Western church in the tradition that Christians have used for centuries. We gather around God's Word and Sacraments, trusting in His promise that He meets us here.

Holy Communion
At Christ Lutheran Church we invite to the Lord's Table all baptized, believing Christians who come with penitent hearts to receive Christ's true body and blood in, with, and under the bread and wine.
The supper is not Christ Lutheran's supper, or a Lutheran supper, it is the Lord's Supper. Our Lord says, "Come unto Me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
Children in Worship
Children are a blessing in our congregation and are always welcome in the Divine Service. We believe that children belong in worship hearing the Word, seeing the Sacraments, and learning the rhythms of the liturgy from an early age.
First-Time Visitors
We are glad you are here. You will find a bulletin in the narthex that guides you through the service. Feel free to participate as you are comfortable.
